We are not only what we eat ā€“ we act (out) what we eat. What we eat influences our mood, focus, and ability to deal with stress ā€“ in other words, it influences how we feel in our bodies, and how we interact with others. It is because food is not only providing building blocks for bones and muscles; it is also impacting brain function, hormonal balance, and neurotransmitters. This is why I believe what we eat and how we nourish our bodies is the foundational part of Eat Be Stay Well.
EAT WELL component of Eat Be Stay Well builds an understanding of the food environment, nutrition, and concepts of healthy eating to help navigate this world with ease and less anxiety. It shifts how we see and define food so that managing grocery shopping, meal planning, and eating well can be streamlined and simplified. Eating shouldnā€™t be difficult :).
