“We are not only what we eat, but how we eat, too.” ~
Michael Pollan

Un-curated social media, click-baits, ever-scrolling randomness are like junk food for the mind. Our devices are like shopping mall eateries for our brains: big, noisy, shiny, and flashy with not much to feed on. We know that foods like fish and blueberries are excellent for the brain, but how we feed our brains, beyond the plate, matters. We also forgot that “being well” is about a relationship with oneself, and we got lost chasing external validation. No wonder we feel physically, mentally, and emotionally depleted.

BE WELL component of Eat Be Stay Well focuses on reframing our relationship with food and our direct environment that impacts how we eat, move, and sleep. It invites curiosity and intention to redesign schedules, take bold charge of ‘to-do’ lists, and create room for nourishment, rejuvenation, and rest. This is the most challenging component of Eat Be Stay Well, but it is worth a little bit of time, commitment, effort, love, care, and attention. :).
